Q: I just joined Goddess Makers, what is next?
First of all, WELCOME, we are so glad to have you! Coming into a new gym can be intimidating, so we are proud of you for joining.
You will see an email come through from Joy@GoddessMakerFitness.com (add that address to your contacts so it doesn’t go to spam), which will give you your private PIN code for access, and all the other details you need.
You will also receive an email from PushPress requesting your signature on our waiver & member agreement.
Q: I am new to working out, what classes are best for me to take?
Every class we offer at Goddess Makers can be modified to meet you where you’re at. We expect women who are new to exercise to walk through our doors and we love offering exercise options so that everyone is successful and able to participate.
That being said, I usually advise newbies to ease in and take it one class at a time. You will be surprised how quickly your body adapts to movement and how fast you are able to start feeling confident within class.
Q: Can I bring a friend?
Yes! We love it when friends join because everything is more fun with a friend! We allow drop-ins for VIBE Dance, Barre Energy & Yoga Stretch, which are just $15/class.
Q: Are you a franchise?
No we are not. We are proud to be a start-from-scratch, local, woman-owned and operated gym!
Q: Are membership dues paid on the 1st of every month?
No, membership dues are drawn bi-weekly on whatever day of the month you join Goddess Makers. They will automatically come out every other week through ACH withdrawal, or a credit card charge.
Q: Do you do contracts:
We do not do contracts. We do month-to-month and require 30 days notice for cancelation.
Q: Do I have to sign up for classes and Childwatch?
Yes, when you sign up for membership, you’ll be connected to the app that we use for class and Childwatch scheduling. You can sign up as late as one minute prior to class.
Q: Will I be charged for missed or late cancels?
Yes, there is an $5 fee for no-shows and late cancelations (less than 2 hours prior to class). This is to encourage consideration for members on the waitlist, the trainer who has planned for the class, and also - the most important, for your accountability to your fitness goals.
Q: Are the front black doors always locked?
Yes they are. Members are given their own private PIN code that works to unlock the doors every day of the week between 5am and 9pm.
Q: Do you take walk-ins?
We do not. Free Intros and meetings need to be scheduled by clicking the “Free Intro” link at the bottom of this page, or by calling the number listed at the bottom of this page.
Q: How do I cancel my membership?
We require 30 days notice prior to cancelation, and that must be done by emailing info@goddessmakerfitness.com and requesting the cancelation.
Q: If I terminate my membership and want to re-join later, do I have to pay the Registration Fee again?
Yes.
